For the March Staff Meeting Cross-classroom Collaboration in Social Studies
Students in grade 10 and in grade 9 join together everyone Monday during social studies. The are randomly selected to present to the group on a current event. Each student is graded according to a teacher-created rubric, by both teachers.
For some of them, the additional students in the audience makes them put more effort into their presentations. (For others, not so much!) Stick Game
Three of the pivotal elements of collaboration are communication, cooperation, and problem-solving. This exercise will test the Consort staff on their skills in these areas. Good luck! :)
